Terms and Conditions
Effective October 29, 2026
1.Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing SecurityShow.com (the “Site”), submitting a form, creating an account, or attending or exhibiting at The Security Show (the “Show”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2.Registration, Booths and Payments
Attendee registration, booth sales, sponsorships, staff badges, exhibitor customer codes and all related payments are handled by our registration partner, FenceFam (fencefam.com). Purchases made there are also subject to FenceFam’s own terms, refund and payment policies. SecurityShow.com does not collect or store payment card information.
Prices, pass types, booth rates and badge allowances shown on the Site are for information and may change. The price and terms confirmed at checkout on FenceFam control.
3.Show Dates, Venue and Changes
The Show is held annually. The 2028 edition is currently scheduled for April 15–17, 2028 in Nashville, Tennessee. We may change the dates, venue, schedule, speakers, exhibitors or program for reasons including venue availability, safety or circumstances outside our control. Any refunds or credits for a change or cancellation follow the policy in effect at the time of purchase.
4.Conduct at the Show and Online
All attendees, exhibitors, speakers and staff must act professionally and lawfully. Badges are personal and non-transferable unless we approve otherwise. We may refuse admission, remove a badge holder, or suspend an account for harassment, unsafe behavior, misuse of badges, or violation of venue rules, without refund.
5.Accounts and the Exhibitor Portal
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. Exhibitor portal access is granted only to verified company contacts. We may suspend access that appears unauthorized or abusive.
6.Exhibitor Content, News and Advertising
Exhibitors are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the company profiles, product listings, specifications, images, links, news submissions and ads they provide, and confirm they have the rights to publish that material. By submitting content you grant The Security Show a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, format and promote it on the Site, in The Security Show Monthly and in Show materials.
All news submissions and ads are reviewed before publication, and we may edit, decline, hide or remove content at our discretion. Paid ads and sponsored content are clearly labeled. Product listings are informational only — the Site does not sell products, and any purchase is solely between the buyer and the exhibitor.
7.Inquiries, Leads and Communications
When you send a product or showroom inquiry, your contact details and message are shared with the exhibitor you contacted so they can reply. If you sign up for updates or the magazine, we may email you Show news; you can unsubscribe at any time.
8.Editorial and Research Content
Articles, research summaries and survey results are provided for general industry information and are not professional, engineering, legal or code-compliance advice. Always confirm product ratings, certifications and specifications directly with the manufacturer before relying on them.
9.Intellectual Property
The The Security Show™ name, wordmark, Site design and original content belong to The Security Show and may not be copied or used without written permission. Exhibitor names, logos and product marks belong to their respective owners.
10.Photography and Recording
Photos, video and audio may be recorded at the Show. By attending, you consent to being included in recordings used to report on and promote the Show. Recording of education sessions requires our or the speaker’s permission.
11.No Endorsement, Recommendation or Warranty of Exhibitors or Products
The Security Show is a trade show and information platform only. We do not manufacture, sell, distribute, install, service or inspect any product shown on the Site or at the Show. Every exhibitor is an independent business and is not our agent, partner, employee or representative.
An exhibitor’s participation, booth, showroom, product listing, “verified” status, sponsorship, advertisement, award, speaking slot, news story or magazine feature does not mean that we recommend, endorse, approve, certify, rate or vouch for that exhibitor or its products, services, pricing, licensing, insurance, workmanship or business practices. “Verified” only means the company’s identity and booth were confirmed through our registration partner.
We make no warranty or guarantee of any kind — express or implied — about any exhibitor, product or service, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, quality, safety, performance, durability, availability or price. We do not confirm or guarantee product claims, crash ratings (e.g. ASTM, K-ratings), UL or other listings, certifications, code or ADA compliance, specifications, test results, or the accuracy of any information an exhibitor provides.
Any purchase, quote, contract, installation, warranty claim, return or dispute is solely between you and the exhibitor or seller. Product warranties, if any, come only from the manufacturer or seller. You are responsible for your own due diligence, including checking licenses, references, insurance and independent testing, and for having qualified professionals design, specify and install security, access-control, gate and barrier equipment in accordance with applicable codes and safety standards (such as UL 325 and ASTM F2200 for gates and operators).
Security products reduce risk but cannot eliminate it. We are not responsible for any break-in, theft, vandalism, injury, property damage, system failure or other loss involving any product or service you learn about through the Site or the Show.
12.Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The Site, the Show and all content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free or secure, or that any content (including AI-assisted research summaries) is complete, current or accurate.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, The Security Show, its owners, officers, staff, contractors and partners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of the Site, your participation in the Show, or your dealings with any exhibitor, sponsor, speaker or other attendee. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the registration, booth or advertising related to that claim, or $100 if you paid nothing.
You attend the Show at your own risk. We are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal property, booth materials or products, or for injuries except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct.
13.Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless The Security Show and its owners, officers, staff and partners from any claims, losses, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Site, your participation in the Show, content you submit, your products or services, or your violation of these Terms or any law. Exhibitors are fully responsible for their booth, staff, displays, demonstrations, products and marketing claims.
14.Events Beyond Our Control
We are not liable for any delay, change or cancellation caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, government orders, labor disputes, utility or internet outages, venue closures, travel disruptions, or acts of terrorism or civil unrest.
15.Third-Party Links
The Site links to FenceFam, exhibitor websites and other third-party sites. We are not responsible for their content, policies or practices.
16.Governing Law
These Terms, your use of the Site and your participation in the Show are governed by the laws of the State of Nevada, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, regardless of where the Show is held. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Clark County, Nevada, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Any claim must be brought within one (1) year after it arises, and claims may be brought only on an individual basis, not as part of a class or representative action.
17.Severability and Entire Agreement
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with any written exhibitor, sponsor or advertising agreement and the terms you accept at checkout on FenceFam, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Site and the Show. Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver.
18.Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date above shows when they last changed, and continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
